anders trentemollers career is a travel-heavy one, with his touring schedule taking him pretty much all over the world. but its his home port thats inspired his latest project, the sprawling, stunning compilation mix harbour boat trips vol. 02: copenhagen. clocking in at just over an hour long, the compilation sees trentemoller curate and craft sixteen songs into a heavy, hazy mix that ranges from shoegaze to electronica, featuring both familiar and celebrated artists like a place to bury strangers (with a new trentemoller remix) and slowdive to more obscure finds, as well as trentemollers own tracks and remixes, most notably a brand new trentemoller cover of neil youngs classic transformer man.the mix sees him pick up a thread he left off earlier in his career. in 2009 he put together harbour boat trips 01: copenhagen, a compilation mix comprised of his favourite music, both danish and international, from across four decades, loosely inspired by the motion and movement of copenhagens busy harbour. closing in on a decade later, were getting the second edition, with harbour boat trips - 02 arriving this november.

coming next from adult only: the repress of one of the most sought-after 12s from the label back catalogue. ao19: �formula express � main course� was originally released in 2002 and featured guillaume la tortue, jef k and chris carrier.
this is actually some of the last records ever produced by the mysterious guillaume la tortue, one of the pioneer of electronic music in france, who�s quoted by laurent garnier in his infamous �electrochoc� book as one of his main influence back in the days.

the record opens on the �main course�: a classic tech-house number with a beautiful 909 beat and a tasteful use of various samples and fx all through the track. the funky vocals still sound fresh today but the secret here (as often with chris carrier�s related work) is the groove � the kind of groove that reminds you summer days in the park while the strong bass-line announces already the next track.
on the flip, �starter� stands out as the perfect dancefloor killer with an infernal groove and a real fat analog bass-line that will keep you moving whether you want it or not. add just a few crispy tribal percussions on a classic raw 909 beat and you got the simplest and dubbiest song of the record but also the most efficient dancefloorwise.
the last cut, �apple pie�, might be the deepest of them all. spacy melodies and trippy vocals in the background make you first feel like you�re chillin on some extraterrestrial beach far away from earth. it starts as a nice breakbeat building the atmosphere before slowly evolving into a more 4-4esque tech-house with the bass coming in only after a couple of minutes. even if the sound was resolutely analogic, the whole ep is extremely well produced with a special care for details. at many levels this three-track ep is a landmark in the label history.

long time canadian dj & producer murat remains a cult legend amongst technos elite. the revered recording artist who has released some of the most sought after records on labels like method 11:11 in the 90s now returns to fellow canadian jonny whites social experiment label with 3 cuts that show just why he�s remained such an enigmatic figure amongst the industry nearly 20 years later.

the accidental jnr label has just passed it s second birthday mark... so at 2 years and 15 releases in it only seems appropriate for the next 12- release to come from the artist that kicked the label off and has made it his home for the past 2 years... bambooman, with a remix from label boss matthew herbert himself on the b-side. the track can really speak for itself as this one is something special for the dancefloor, the only difficulty is choosing which version to play... dj support: gilles peterson, andrew thompson (huntley s & palmers), laurent garnier, simeon mobile disco, eclair fifi, bake, luke solomon, eliphino, severino panzetta, red axes, andrew weatherall, dixon...

the elusive producer nortasun hasn�t released a record since his debut one through saft back in 2016. after two years, it�s time for a follow up which is fittingly named �two�. the track titles also resume in a fashionable manner with the opening track being titled: �untitled 3�. on this track, nortasun introduces a firm rhythm that is supported by the impossibly beautiful strings that serve as the tracks key element and appear throughout. next up is the antonzap remix. antonzap doesn�t do the stereotypical remix take on the original. his version is dub laden, otherworldly, and only implements miniscule pieces from the original take. with just under 7 minutes, the remix version is a true sonic voyage.
on the b-side, nortasun takes a more dubbed out approach to modern day house music. �untitled 4� is a work of precision. the carefully crafted hats and dub elements sizzle throughout the entire track and help the track morph into a stunning piece of dance floor music around the four minute mark. nortasun cleverly introduces a thumping bass that changes up the mood for the entire work.

autarkic describe himself as first and foremost a songwriter but he has also made a name for himself as an international dj. over the past three years the musician based in tel aviv has, with great success, played clubs throughout all of europe. one extra memorable gig was on last year�s edition of convenanza in the amphitheatre in sete, france. rumour has it that the sea living mammals of the area flocked in large groups in the waters below during autarkic�s gig. this 12� picture vinyl is his first release on hoga nord rekords and the slightly psychedelic, sample- and synthesiser based club music that has become autarkic�s trademark sound is captured by an impeccable production. the music is playful, yet stripped down to the essentials and not overloaded. the vocal elements works more as percussive elements than the carrier of the storytelling in the music. if you missed him live or just don�t have the means to go see him, this record give a taste of autarkic�s hypnotic live performances!

mantra makes an entry to finnish proform series with his raw and uncompromised four track acid ep called �the abyss�. after releases on bunker records, polybius trax, solar one music and abstract acid under the mantra alias craig stainton delivers four tracks of jackin pure acid techno madness in the veins of true underground. starting with �next culture� is a good introduction to pumping beats and a moaning 303 while �beat methods� takes a rougher and tougher angle to acid. just imagine yourself in a warehouse party in the morning jammin to some acid. on the b-side �the abyss� leads us to the deep end of the 303 or even to the bottom of the acid sea. �singularity� ends this package with great 303 lines definitely burning up the house! a limited and numbered edition of 200, after that it�s gone, no represses, no digital, so you know what to do!
